Welcome and I hope my website reaches you in good spirits.  Even in difficult times, embrace life’s blessings and don’t loose hope. I have been an artist throughout my life.  I remember as a child my Mom taking my brother, Jason Alexander, (a painter as well) and I to the park with charcoal and paper to sketch out features that we found interesting. “Just paint what you see” she would say, “there is no right or wrong answer”.  I paint what I feel and most of my works are biographical.  Paintings are thoughts and feelings that I have deep within me.  How can a flower bloom so perfectly and landscape our world so beautifully?  Nature inspires me and guides me through the creative process.

I was born in Toronto, Canada and live in the Beach, Toronto, with my two young adult kids.  I’m an accomplished retired violinist and have a 22 year career with the Toronto District School Board.  I teach strings; violin, viola, cello and bass to kids from grades 5 to 8.  I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Toronto in English Literature and a Bachelor of Fine Art Honours degree from York University. I have written a self help book called, “How to Complain in 12 Easy Steps”.  Check it out on Amazon.   I'm also writing a poetry book of erotic writings, and when I'm not in the studio painting I enjoy cooking and learning Italian with duolingo.

Thanks for sharing your time with me and I hope that my paintings have inspired and shone light into your day.  Let the creative process flow throughout your daily thoughts and activities and feel its magic. Fall in love with paintings today and tomorrow.
